Campeonatos Mundiales en DecaAmerica

Hemos adicionado una nueva herramienta a DecaAmerica: el website de los Campeonatos Mundiales de Atletismo.

Estos campeonatos, como los conocemos hoy día, comenzaron en 1983, en Helsinki, Finlandia. Este año 2025 se llevaráa a cabo la edición número 20, en Tokyo, Japón.

En nuestro website puedes encontrar los records y mejores marcas en la historia de los campeonatos, así como todos los ganadores, tanto del Decatlón como del Heptatlón de las 19 ediciones precedentes.

Estamos adicionando una nueva capacidad al website: los resultados completos de cada edición. Para verlos, basta con presionar un click sobre el año correspondiente. Por ahora sólo tenemos los resultados del Decatlón de 1983 y 1987.

World Championships in DecaAmerica

A new feature has been added to DecaAmerica: the website of World Championships in Athletics.

The Champs, as we know them today, began in 1983 in Helsinki, Finland. This year the 20th edition will be held in Tokyo, Japan.

On our website, you can find the records and best performances in the history of the championships, as well as all the champions, both in the Decathlon and the Heptathlon, from the 19 previous editions.

We’re adding a new feature to the website: the complete results for each edition. To view them, click on the corresponding year. For now, we only have the 1983 and 1987 Decathlon.

Nueva estadística en DecaAmerica: HEPTATLÓN IDEAL

Gracias al detallado trabajo de nuestro amigo y colega Yoshiaki Oikawa (JPN/ATFS) hoy tenemos la primera aproximación al HEPTATLÓN IDEAL.

Me enorgullece anunciarles esta nueva estadística a todos aquellos que nos siguen. Cada vez que termine un evento importante estaremos actualizando este listado.

La líder de todos los tiempos en el HEPTATLÓN IDEAL es, como todos debemos imaginarnos, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, de los Estados Unidos de América, la actual recordista mundial de Heptatlón. El total ideal (calculado en base a las marcas personales en los eventos del Heptatlón) de JJK es 7654 puntos, más de 300 puntos por encima de la segunda mejor ubicada, y la líder entre las atletas activas, la belga Nafissatou Thiam (7321p).

En nuestra estadística presentamos a todas las heptatletas con total ideal sobre 6900 puntos (un total de 44 mujeres; 25 de ellas con más de 7000p). La lista se completa con todas las heptatletas activas que suman 6700 unidades o más.

New feature in DecaAmerica: IDEAL HEPTATHLON

Thank you to a detailed work of our friend and colleague Yoshiaki Oikawa (JPN/ATFS) today we have the first approach to the IDEAL HEPTATHLON.

I’m very proud to announce this new statistic to all our followers, that can be update regularly, after each important meeting.

The alltime leader of IDEAL HEPTATHLON is, as everyone can assume, Jackie Joyner-Kersee of the United States of America, the Heptathlon World Record Holder. The Ideal Total (calculated based on personal bests in Heptathlon events) of JJK is 7654 points, more than 300 points ahead of her closest pursuer, the leader among active heptathletes, Nafissatou Thiam de Bélgica (7321p).

In our statistic we present all the heptathletes with ideal total over 6900 points (44; 25 of them above 7000p). Also, to complete the list, all the active heptathletes with 6700p or more.

Enjoy the work. Any addition, correction and contribution to this work will be welcomed.

Decathlon – after Olympic Games

All the Decathlon’s statistics have been updated after Olympic Games Paris 2024.

To check the statistics, you can visit the site dedicated exclusively to Decathlon in DecaAmerica.

The most relevant modification was, without a doubt, the World Decathlon Best of Discus throw, for Leo Neugebauer of Germany, with a throw of 57.70m (it is found in WDB Progression and in Decathlon – Individual Event Lists).

The event with the most changes in Top-20 in 2024 was the 110m hurdles with three new decathletes.

All Decathlon statistics have a new format.

All the updates on Decathlon statistics were made for Yoshiaki Oikawa.

Decatlón – actualizado después de París

Todas las estadísticas del Decatlón han sido actualizadas tras los Juegos de París 2024.

Para revisar esas estadísticas, los invito a que visiten el sitio de DecaAmerica dedicado al Decatlón.

El cambio más importante fue, sin dudas, el nuevo récord de Disco logrado por Leo Neugebauer de Alemania, con 57.70m (lo encuentran en la Progresión de la Mejor Marca Mundial de Decatlón y en el listado de la prueba, en las Listas de Pruebas Individuales del Decatlón).

La prueba con más cambios en 2024 en el Top-20 fue 110m con vallas con tres nuevos atletas adicionados.

Todas las estadísticas del Decatlón tienen un nuevo formato.

Todas las modificaciones en las estadísticas del Decatlón fueron hechas por Yoshiaki Oikawa.

Una nueva entrega estadística nos llega a DecaAmerica, cortesía de Yoshiaki Oikawa.

Por primera vez en la historia se publica un listado por evento de las siete pruebas que componen el Heptatlón Masculino y las cinco del Pentatlón Femenino, ambos en Pista Cubierta.

En un gran esfuerzo de recopilación histórica, Yoshi ha logrado reunir en un documento por sexo, muchos años de esfuerzos de los mejores especialistas del mundo.

For the first time in history, lists of the seven events included in the Men Indoor Heptathlon and the five events that conform the Women Indoor Pentathlon are published.

New look of the competition pages

I present to you a new look for the competition pages of DecaAmerica.

With this new version, the information is better distributed on the page, since we have separated the Decathlon from the Heptathlon.

Existing pages have been moved to this new format.

Thus, they will be able to see how the pages of the Decastar of Talence and the South American Games (ODESUR) have turned out.

Les presento una nueva imagen para las páginas de competencias de DecaAmerica.

Con esta nueva versión la información está mejor distribuida en la página, pues hemos separado el Decatlón del Heptatlón.

Las páginas existentes han sido trasladadas a este nuevo formato.

Así, podrán ver cómo han quedado las página del Decastar de Talence y la de los Juegos Sudamericanos (ODESUR).
