[1] - Meighan improved her own previous National Record of 4,350, after finished first in last event, 800m. Second later arrived Schumann who also improved the old NR and better Meighan for 22 points, 4,542 for 4,520. This record is not officially recognized but was live for 10.1 seconds.
[2] - Originally reported as 4688 but without details. Found in a Mexican newspaper where it appears as 4488, but when calculating the 7 results, the total adds up to 4593, which is higher than the current record of 4590. Assuming the 100m hurdles result is hand timing (15.0) the calculated total would add up to 4561, which at the time represented a new national record.
