The 8000 Club consists of all those decathletes who, at some point in their lives, have scored 8000 points or more in a decathlon. The first time a man—after completing 10 events—reached a score of 8000 points (calculated using the current scoring tables, those from 1985) was in 1963, achieved by the Taiwanese athlete Yang Chuan-Kwang.

On this page you will find all the decathletes who have joined the CLUB 8000 during the 2026 season. This list records each athlete’s first decathlon performance of 8,000 points or more. The new members are listed in chronological order.
